Sweet, chocolatey stout with a hint of vanilla. Medium body, which felt a little on the "thin" side for a stout. Somewhat roasty, not overly malty.
This is the second bottle I've tried from
Draper Brewing, and while it was quite tasty, I'd like to call attention to the fact that it is also the second bottle with a misspelling on the label. If your brewery's "thing" is that you age your ales in re-claimed Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, you should probably double-check the spelling on words like "barrel" and "Sauvignon". Kind of embarrassing.
