Ale brewed with cucumber, lime, & habanero peppers
A longer description can be found on the side of the bottle:
Here at Flat Tail we dig fresh fruit. So much so, for this fiesta-themed little ditty, we were willing to hand process hundreds of pounds of whole cucumbers, limes and habanero peppers for each and every batch. Fresh cukes are pureed, juiced, and added to the fermentation for a bright, refreshing nose, with a crisp acidity and citrusy zest from fresh limes. Let's not forget the balanced heat and tropical aroma of whole habanero peppers, grown by our buds Bill and Moody at Grumpy Bird Peppers, just five miles from the brewery. So, if "not your average fruit beer" is what you're after, kick up your feet, don the ol' sombrero, and get you're suds on; Guapo style.
I really liked this beer! Nice fresh cucumber aroma, smooth limey and cucumbery taste on top of a pretty good blonde, with nice fruity habanero taste that builds the more you drink. I found this to be really well-balanced despite the somewhat unusual ingredients, and it'd have been really refreshing as a summer beer -- though it did just fine on a somewhat overcast day as well. Would definitely pick it up if I saw it again.
