Hmm... astringent. Kind of syrup-y. The description says cranberries, candy canes, and pine -- all of which I can taste. One of the brewers described it as a "Christmas tree in a bottle", which is apt. It tastes like Christmas, not like a Christmas beer. Hard to drink, unfortunately, but cheers to the folks at Fort George for trying something different.
