I drank several cans of "Allies Win the War!" when 21st Ammendment released their version of this collaboration last summer. I remember it being really good. It's a shame that this version isn't on the shelves anymore, so I can't do a side-by-side comparison. Regardless, I still think this beer is really good. Lots of good dark fruit flavors (it does bill itself as "ale brewed with dates", after all)... sugary and complex. Earthy. Smooth.
