This farmhouse style Saison is dry, citric, tart, spritzy, and incredibly drinkable. The orange essence comes from the use of dried orange peels and blood orange juice.
Pours reddish-orange with tons of beautiful fluffy, frothy head. Smells faintly citrusy.
I'm not sure about this beer. It tastes like... orange rinds? There are definitely some strong citrus notes, but there's also some strange sour and bitter notes. Very little sweetness, if any. Very dry. Didn't taste much like a saison to me at all; could definitely have used more carbonation, and I didn't notice any saison-esque wild yeast flavors. Very odd.
