It's always exciting to see a new brewery on the shelf, and Boring Brewing Co. brings my running total up to 70 different Oregon breweries. Whew! Here's the brewer's description of Big Yawn IPA, taken from the side of the bottle: Solid. Lightly bready base, bright grapefruit hops. Light-bodied (especially for 7.2% abv!) and easy to knock back. I really enjoyed Big Yawn. Especially considering it's the first release from a brand-new brewery, I was especially impressed with how rounded, well-balanced, and easy-drinking it was. I'm excited to check out other releases coming out of Boring over the next few months!
