The description from Deschutes'
website:
Here at Deschutes Brewery, we're always on the lookout for a chance to create something new. That's why, more than 3 years ago, our brewers decided to fill up some Oregon pinot barrels with a beer gone astray and infect it with Brettanomyces, and then wait for the transformation. Around the brewhouse it was known as "Green Monster," and the name stuck. At the end of this experimentation story, you will find a monstrously fantastic, sour beer, with slight cherry and dried fruit aroma. In fact, the only scary thing about this beer is that it is SO LIMITED!
Mildly sweet with some cherry notes mixed into a very "wine-like" base. Tart, but not an incredibly pucker-inducing sour. Quite dry. Kind of vinegar-y. Not my favorite from Deschutes, but interesting and worth trying nonetheless.
