From what I've been able to
gather on the Internet, Draper Brewing is a small 3-man operation down in Tenmile, OR. The absence of any
RateBeer or
BeerAdvocate ratings suggest they're either just getting started, have incredibly limited distribution, or both. On to the beer:
Farmhouse-style ale aged with blueberries in french oak barrels previously containing Cabernet Savignon[sic].
The blueberries are pretty up-front and are the first thing I smelled. Sweet, fruity. The beer was a medium-bodied saison, which I thought helped to balance it out, but it still could've used a bit more maltiness. Fairly carbonated.
I didn't notice any Cabernet Sauvignon aging characteristics, it was pretty much all blueberry.
