The first of our brewmaster’s two proposal beers; this wild braggot is fermented with our house Brett strain, 100% local honey, a hint of blueberry, and a dash of 5-year-old stout from Corvallis Brewing Supply’s Joel Rae’s cellar. Light & leathery, tropical fruit on the nose leads to rich honeycomb & brittle flavors.
That's a gloriously creepy label you've got there, Flat Tail!
Pours clear and golden with surprisingly little head. Smells and tastes light, clean, somewhat sweet, and somewhat funky (in a good way). Honey and faint fruit flavors. Smooth, clean finish.
Did I like this beer? Was it super-delicious? YES.
