Tasting Notes
Pours cloudy and golden, with a thick head and moderate lacing. Tastes mildly spicy, very biscuit-y. Almost grassy or lemony, maybe. I'm not a huge lager-head, but I liked this one a lot. Fort George has been a coastal destination for a while, and I'm glad to see them start canning and increasing their distribution. Their take on a "pre-prohibition" lager is very flavorful and easy to drink. I very much look forward to seeing more cans coming out of Astoria, and am keeping my fingers crossed for some tasty stouts in the near future!
