Tasting Notes
Out of the 90′s Pacific Northwest music scene, Suicide Squeeze Records founder David Dickenson forged his own path with acts like Modest Mouse, Elliott Smith, and Pedro the Lion, forgoing standard industry protocal. Similarly, Fort George has chosen to craft beer that is often outside the beer style guidelines. This year’s spring collaboration with Suicide Squeeze Records is one of those beers – a crisp session IPA with every bit of the hoppy flavor and aroma you’ve come to expect from Fort George. Floral and citrusy, Suicide Squeeze IPA is a light ode to spring.
Foamy head practically explodes from the can! Big fruity grapefruit hops, light malt base. A surprising amount of flavor for a relatively low-alcohol beer... I could drink this all day long! A super-solid summertime IPA, pretty much perfect for drinking out in the sun. This definitely won't be my last 4-pack.
