Funny story. This is the second free beer I've received. I started this blog four years ago, thinking both "I love all of these different beer labels!" and "I wonder if I could get a brewery to send me free beer?". And I did it! Ninkasi mailed me a few botles of Spring Reign back in April, and then a few months later, this: Ninkasi Oktoberfest. Awesome. Then my girlfriend and I broke up, I moved, adopted a dog, and drank a lot of whiskey. And drank beer out in bars -- you know, on tap. And I stopped taking pictures of beer bottles and I never wrote a review of this Oktoberfest, and now it's a year later. And I don't really remember what it tasted like. Sorry, Ninkasi. Thank you for the beers. All of your beers are pretty great, and I bet that this one was, too. I'm carving pumpkins with friends later this week, and I'm going to take over a 6-pack of 2015 Oktoberfest. It's gonna be awesome.
