Happy St. Patrick's Day! Pelican's Riptide Red is a pretty straight-forward Irish red. Thin, lightly-hopped, and a really clean finish which makes it very drinkable. I prefer a red to be a bit more on the aggressive side of the scale, so the Riptide actually came off as a little too "light" for me. I think that a few more malts would've balanced things out and helped to bring the flavor up a little bit, too.
