"Whoa," I exclaimed to my girlfriend upon first tasting Bourbon Little Brother, "this beer... doesn't taste like anything." Maybe that's a testament to it's smoothness. As the beer warmed up, I started to get very faint bourbon notes -- but definitely not as pronounced as I'd hoped for. The beer in general tasted a little "thin" to me -- I expected a big, rich roastiness, but everything here is very subtle. Smooth as hell, though, and the 10% ABV is very well hidden, even after the beer has warmed to almost room temperature.
