Something about this beer tasted off to me, but I couldn't really put my finger on it. It tasted like a stout, and I could taste some nice coffee flavors, but it had a really weird, slightly-sour fruit taste to it. Skunked bottle? I didn't buy it that long ago... Then I read on BeerAdvocate that it was aged in red wine barrels. Red wine! Aha! I didn't really like it, unfortunately.
