Tasting Notes
Pours cloudy. Strong grassy hops aroma.
A bit of sweetness at the front, with prevalent grapefruity hops taking center-stage in the flavor. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Sour, hoppy aftertaste.
The Draper IPA unfortunately isn't exactly a shining example of the style. It isn't bad, necessarily, but it could definitely use a bit more balance. The end result is that it tastes skunky -- and not in a delightfully-skunky-sticky-hops sort of way. There's too much of that singular grapefruit flavor without a lot of complexity or other things going on to really balance it out.
