Tasting Notes
The Line Dry pleasantly surprised me -- it seems that summer has finally arrived in Portland, and this was a perfect beer to be drinking outside on a hot, sunny day. Pours a beautiful orange-y gold. Some lacing. Very little "rye" taste, despite the name. The taste is a bit of hops, and a bit of honey. Crisp. Clean. Light. You can absolutely taste the honey, which mixes wonderfully with the light hoppiness and adds a subtle sweetness. The dry finish may have had a bit of rye in it, but aside from that, I couldn't really taste it. It doesn't really matter, though... this was still one of the best-balanced honey pale ales I've had!
